ZEDD'S OPINION:

This movie must have had a really low budget, but low doesn't always mean bad. The writing was good, the cinematography is good. The film quality was bad, lighting could have been better. The vampire effects were standard, but the unique concept works. A vampire mad scientist trying to cure the affliction to light so vampires can rule the world. The basic good vs. evil morality play. The acting was a tad corny at best. Less face it, it's far from a perfect movie. But I've seen far worse with much higher budgets. Look at BATTLEFIELD EARTH for example. I think the director, effects man and the whole cast did the best they could with the budget they had and I think they did a damn fine job. I give it...6 STARS

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I agree with Zedd, in fact. People who bitch and wine saying you should give this bad movie some slack, it had a low budget. I call that an excuse and not a very good one. Low budget doesn't mean you have the right to make a craper! This movie is the perfect example of what you can do if you use your low budget the right way and not stuff half of it in your pocket like I think some of these Producers do. Anyway, I wish they spend alittle more money on lights for the outdoor night shots. But other then that, it's all pretty good. I give it...5 STARS

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ CONCEPT (Vampire Mad Scienctist is a new twist on two old stories.)
+ VAMPIRE EFFECTS (They were pretty good.)
+ STORY (The story worked.)
+ WELL USED BUDGET (Any bad movie that cries "We had a low budget" is only giving a bad excuse.)
+ CHARACTERS (Uniquely written characters.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- LIGHTING ISSUES (I wish the lighting was better in certain night shots.)

...AND FINALLY...

- ACTING (I wish they acting could have been a shy better as well.)
