THE PLOT:
When robots attack the city and nosey reporter Polly Perkins throws herself smack in the middle. The Sky Captain is called
to save the day.
The Robots steal a generator and departs. Polly is working on a story about kidnapped scientist that is connected to the
Robot attack. The cause of the robots is a mad genecidal genius named Dr. Totenkopf.
Dr. Totenkopf kidnaps Sky Captain's friend Buzz, it becomes personal.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
Sky Captain honors the old serials of the thirties and forties and the whole atmosphere of the piece really looks like the
time. I was amazed by the look of the film, the design of the robots and the costumes. How they got Lawrence Oliver to be
in this movie is outstanding. Why itdidn't do better in the box office is beyond me. SKY CAPTAIN is a feast for the eyes and
the story is the gravy. Now I do agree with the critics that said the bickering between Polly and Sky Captain did get in the
way of the story. So I must admit that it is a buried treasure and a fun watch. I give it 9 STARS!

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I did enjoy the movie, allot. I enjoyed the story, the characters, the effects and like Zedd said, the whole world of Sky
Captain was a feast for the eyes. Yup, miss this one and regret it. I also give it....9 STARS

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ CREATURE EFFECTS (Both robot and creature effects are cool.)
+ STORY (The story works.)
+ CHARACTERS (The characters work.)
+ WORLD (The world looks like the world of the 30s')
...AND FINALLY...
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- BICKERING (The bickering between Polly and Sky Captain.)
